The event will take place in the confines of North Park https://www.alleghenycounty.us/parks/north-park/index.aspx , just 15 miles north of the city of Pittsburgh.
History: North Park was completed in 1931 and hosts a wide variety of sports and training and racing gem to the Pittsburgh community. The park features a lake, miles and miles of single track trails, the largest swimming pool in United States, golf course, picnic groves, kayak rentals, Over The Bar restaurant on the lake, treetop obstacle course – zip lining, hiking, biking and mountain biking
Races and Distances
The racecourse will be measured exactly to the requirements of the International Ultra Triathlon Association (IUTA). The race will abide by all rules of the IUTA (governing body of the global ultra triathlons). All 3 races will begin together.
Double Ultra:
4.8 mile swim in North Park Swimming Pool (50 meter length)
224 mile bike (approximately 1.4 mile loop, see bike course map)
52.4 mile run (approximately 1 mile loop, see run course map)
This is a continuous event meaning that once the race clock starts, it continues through the day and night.
Finish cutoff time: 36 hours
Single Ultra:
2.4 mile swim
112 mile bike
26.2 mile run
Finish cutoff time: 17 hours
Double Ultra Team Event:
A maximum of 3 athletes can join together for the Double Ultra only and can switch off from athlete to athlete throughout the race.

Entry Fees (after the 2 week special)
Double Ultra: $695
Single Ultra: $395
Team: $995 (total for the team, can be a 2 person or 3 person team)

Accommodations:
